I've been meditating before bed recently, and I've  been having some pretty vivid dreams. I was eating falafel in my dream and remember feeling the texture and tasting the flavor. The night before I was making out with a friend in a van and I felt everything too. I normally don't have sex dreams, believe it or not. LOL. Then there was the dream where a man was giving a lecture on Rosicrucian mysteries but I forgot everything as soon as I opened my eyes.

Today was my day off and I was able to sleep in, but I feel lonely and bored. I guess I'm so used to being around people now that I crave it more than I used to. I ordered a pizza which should be here soon, so I'm sure after I eat I'll feel better. Then later I'll exercise. :)

Okay, I have now paid off two of my credit cards. Let's keep those balances down now!!

This weekend, we had a huge Hindu convention at our hotel including a wedding. I received a blessing from one of the religious leaders, and one of the other gentleman told me "No one here appreciates you, but I do. You are a very hard worker and the best employee at this hotel". Wow, it almost brought tears to my eyes!

Also, one of the guys asked me if I wanted my picture taken. And when have I ever refused a photo? LOL

Remind me not to eat a chorizo burrito from the taqueria before I have to work a 12 hour front desk shift by myself. Good thing our occupancy is only 20%.  :X

I haven't eaten Trix cereal in awhile and it's sounding really good about now.

I just bought tickets for the Live/Collective Soul/Blues Traveler show in Kelseyville in July. I really couldn't care less about Blues Traveler, and I do like Collective Soul, but I am thrilled about seeing Live again! Although, I don't know how many songs they will get to play with all three bands performing. Oh well, it should still be fun. I bought two tickets in the hopes of finding someone to go with me. I got the premier package that inclues a sunset BBQ. Any takers? LOL.

I am super excited!!!

No wonder I felt so lethargic today. It was 90 degrees and I have no AC in my house. I also didn't drink as much water as I should have. Now that it's getting later, I am starting to feel more normal. Whew. I thought I was going to pass out and one point.

About 15 senior citizens just walked past my house. It looks like some sort of walking group. Now they just walked up the hill and disappeared. Weird.

Hmm, this Anniversary Blend from Peet's Coffee has a weird Indian curry flavor. It's not bad, but it's a little strange.

Oh wow, I have been drinking so hope this makes sense.

My co-worker brought Play-Doh to work today because she was helping her brother make a model bedroom for a class. She wanted to make a rug with the Oakland A's logo, so I drew the logo for her and it looked pretty good! But when she first said she wanted the Oakland A's logo, I thought she said "Oakland Annie". She asked who that was and I said it was a hooker I knew over on 14th St. heh. It was funny at the time.

Oh, I also ate a bit of the Play-Doh. But then, I will eat anything. Place it in front of me, and I will put it in my mouth. ;)

I am in dire need of a hot stone massage.

The kind where I tell the massage therapist that I can take it like a man because I like it deep and hard.

The kind where they're not afraid to do your butt cheeks.

The kind where I can barely walk after, and my vision is blurred for an hour.

That's what I need. And I need it soon.

I'm craving Junior Mints right now.

I want to bite into a slightly crunchy brown shell, and have my mouth coated with a creamy, white, viscous fluid.

Maybe I should work out instead.

::gasp:: I just saw this news story about my lovely little town! And just the other day I saw three cop cars chasing after someone down our main street.

I always pretend I live in Cabot Cove, ME (my mom used to watch "Murder, She Wrote" all the time. LOL.) Crockett also reminds me of the setting of a Stephen King novel. Actually, the even smaller town of Port Costa down the road is even creepier. I think that town is actually full of zombies and vampires or people that hatched out of slimy pods. heh.

Four injured in drive-by shooting in Crockett

CROCKETT, CA -- Four people were injured in a drive-by shooting outside a bar in Crockett early Sunday morning, Contra Costa County Sheriff's Sgt. Dan Mariner said today.

The sheriff's office received a call reporting multiple shots fired at about 2 a.m. on Ceres Street near Third Avenue in the small, unincorporated community of about 3,200 people.
When they arrived, deputies found two victims, one who had been shot in the hand and one who had suffered a grazing wound, Mariner said. Deputies found a third victim who had been shot in the leg two blocks away on Wanda Street near Third Avenue, Mariner said. A fourth victim, who had also been shot in the leg, turned up a short time later at a local hospital, Mariner said.

The shooter was described only as a white male adult driving a black vehicle. There were reportedly three passengers in the vehicle, Mariner said.
Investigators found 14 shell casings at the scene that appeared to have been fired from a semi-automatic handgun, Mariner said.
The incident is still under investigation, but Mariner said so far deputies don't have any evidence to indicate that the shooting was gang-related.

Okay, maybe taking my Anubis statue to the Asatru blot wasn't such a good idea. I came home and his arm is broken off!!! He was in a bag under my chair, but I could feel it was kind of awkward. hehe.

I think it actually happened as I was driving home and merging onto the freeway. There was a curve that wasn't marked very well, and I went too fast and spun out. :X No one and nothing got hurt except for Anubis, and I am grateful that he took an injury instead of me. Some super glue should fix him up!

Speaking of injuries...I got a letter from my workman's comp saying that my doctor has said I am 5% permanently disabled and will recive a settlement of about $2,300. Wow! I wasn't expecting that.

Yesterday I started cleaning my apartment, and I am continuing that theme today. Clean feels good!! It rained ALL DAY yesterday but today it is clear, so I have every window in the house open to get some cross ventilation. I will take pics as soon as it is clean and clutter free, and I have one dynamic piece of wall art hug up. I need help for that though, so who knows when that will be. Hopefully soon.

Okay, back to cleaning!!

I went to visit my parents on Thursday and felt great, but yesterday started coughing and now I feel achy and dizzy. :( The worst part was I had to drive 400 miles back home today and there was rain and fog. But I am back home and took Ny Quil, but have work in the morning. Blech.

Sat, Dec. 22nd, 2007, 08:28 pm

I got the stitches out of my knee yesterday, and now it is about 95% back to normal. My knee looks a little like a vagina right now with a bit of redness and swelling around the slit, and I am able to get it wet now. :D
